A few changes based on user feedback.

I added a choice to 'avoid social limits' which lets those presenting as male dance with men and those presenting as female dance with women, as well as removing the line for some characters about not being able to marry Henry legally.

It's a bit clunky but enough players said these sorts of thing interfered with their enjoyment that it felt worth doing. Unfortunately the link between gender presentation and perceived gender is baked into the variables in a way that would be much harder to change, so you still can't, say, play as a character who is openly a woman while wearing a suit. I will not repeat this mistake in future games!  

I also added a line about the protagonist's mother being the child of Chinese merchants, since while I'd always intended the protagonist's ethnicity to be clear I have since realised I went past subtle into ambiguous. It seems like not all players picked up that Mrs Tilney is from India, either, but for now I couldn't think of any elegant way to make that clearer.

Please let me know if you encounter any bugs, or if there are other things you would like changed about the game! I can't guarantee anything but it's always good to know what did and did not work for people. I'm currently pondering if it would be worth making the sprite art a little neater/more conventional, more like the sprites for Pride or Prejudice.
