Contemporary Visual Novel Backgrounds

A collection of filtered Visual Novel backgrounds in a consistent style, combining edited versions  of some of my existing background sets with new backgrounds. 

The base house is pretty similar to Visual Novel House Backgrounds, but I fixed up the outside areas and filtered everything to look like it's painted. 

All are 1920x1080 pixels, and are in the style shown in the screenshots.

These backgrounds are released as pay what you want and Creative Commons Attribution:

• Day variants of the house backgrounds (original: Visual Novel House Backgrounds)
• Warehouse backgrounds (original: Anime Style Factory Backgrounds) Not a perfect match style wise
• A Hungry Heart misc backgrounds: alley, prison cell, creepy doctor's office, power lines, layered car, outside an office

If you pay $20USD or more you can also download:

• Night and evening variants of the house backgrounds (original: Visual Novel House Backgrounds)
• A Hungry Heart house backgrounds: like the regular house backgrounds, but the inhabitant is a loner goth. Day, night, and evening variants

Use or adapt any of these images for any sort of project, including commercial works. If you use the images credit me and link back to this page. Don't redistribute or resell the unedited images or use them for any sort of AI training.
